सुजुकी के बारे में

जापानी बाइक निर्माता सुज़ुकी ने 1982 में पहली बार भारत में अपनी मोटरसाइकिलें उतारी थी। देश में टू व्हीलर की मैन्यूफैक्चरिंग के लिए कंपनी ने टीवीएस के साथ करार किया था। दोनों कंपनियों के बीच यह करार समाप्त हो गया। इसके बाद कंपनी ने 2006 में सुज़ुकी मोटरसाइकिल इंडिया,प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के नाम से एक निजी संस्था के तौर पर भारतीय बाज़ार में दोबारा से कदम रखा। फिलहाल, इस कंपनी की गुरुग्राम और हरियाणा में मैन्यूफैक्चरिंग प्लांट चल रहे हैं जहां प्रतिवर्ष 5.4 लाख यूनिट बाइक तैयार की जाती है।
