And here we are with 5 such upcoming performance bikes which looks quite promising.

The bike is expected to be launched by the end of this year, following which, it will become the new flagship model from the company. It is a sport cruiser motorcycle like the Ducati Diavel but on a smaller platform. Powering the ergonomically designed motorcycle is a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 35.49PS of power. The sport cruiser is speculated to be priced around Rs 1.8 lakh.

BMW G 310 R:

BMW Motorrad is about to bring the new G 310 R in India which is developed by the company in Germany but will be manufactured by its partner TVS at the Indian facility. The bike was also showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo and was looking quite promising for the market. Built on a new tubular steel bridge-type frame, the bike is powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder engine that deliver 34PS of power. The aggressive styling of the bike is inspired by the bigger S1000R roadster and it gets many interesting features like inverted front forks and ABS as standard. The company is expected to price the BMW G 310 R in India near Rs 2.5 lakh and it could be launched by early-2017.

TVS Akula 310:

The TVS Akula 310 was showcased as a racing concept at the 2016 Auto Expo. Now, TVS has confirmed that they are bringing the 310cc motorcycle by the end of the running fiscal year. The full-faired sportbike is based on the G 310 R roadster, developed by BMW Motorrad in Germany. The bike gets all the high-end features of the bike including the beefy inverted front forks along with the same 34PS motor. The frame of the bike looks much different , however, it shares many components with the BMW G 310 R. Now the best part is that TVS could price this amazing sportsbike around just Rs 2 lakh.

2017 KTM 390 Duke:

The Austrian bikemaker, KTM, is reportedly all set to introduce the 2017 model of its popular 390 Duke at the EICMA in November 2016. The bike has been captured testing many times in India and abroad, revealing so many details about the next-gen KTM 390 Duke. The bike looks highly influenced by the bigger 1290 SuperDuke R, especially with the sharper headlamp and the fuel tank extensions. Powering the bike is the same 373cc engine that is doing duty on the existing model, however, it will get a new side-slung muffler to comply with the Euro-4 norms. Besides the standard ABS and slipper clutch, the bike will get features like riding modes, full LED lighting with always-on DRLs and a more informative console.

Yamaha MT-03:

Yamaha is also set to launch the streetfighter iteration of its full-faired YZF-R3, the MT-03, in India by the end of this year. The bike shares complete platform with the faired machine, however, the styling is completely different. It also shared the 321cc, parallel-twin motor with its sibling that makes an impressive 42PS of power and gets all the similar components as well. The styling of the naked machine looks inspired by the MT-09 superbike which is also available in the Indian market. Elimination of the fairing will make the MT-03 cheaper by a good Rs 40,000-50,000 as compared to the YZF-R3 and it will be a good option in the market for a price near Rs 2.75 lakh for the non-ABS model.
