5. Indian Roadmaster:

India got so many expensive bikes in 2015 and the highest priced one of them is the Indian Roadmaster with a price tag of Rs 34.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 400kg bagger type cruiser has a huge appearance that makes it stand apart from the crowd and gets most of the features you will ever need on a long ride. The most important one is the iconic Thunder Stroke 111 engine which is a 1,811cc, V-twin that churns out 161.6Nm of peak torque at just 3,000rpm. Besides this, the other key features of the Indian Roadmaster include horizon power windshield, 142.33 litres of remote locking storage, comfortable heated grips and seats, keyless, ABS, Cruise Control, keyless start and a 200-watt stereo system with Bluetooth & smartphone compatibility.

The most advanced sports-tourer available in India, the BMW K 1600 GTL has been priced at Rs 36.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Powered by a 1,649cc, in-line 6-cylinder engine, the unique motorcycle provides a power output of 160PS at 7,750rpm and a massive 175Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm. The bike also gets digital engine management (BMS-X) program along with key features like a fully adjustable suspension set-up, high-performance braking with ABS and traction control as standard.  Other highlighted features of the bike are the adaptive headlight and ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) which are optional.

With a dry weight of just 162kg, it is the lightest motorcycle in its respective segment and has a power output of 205PS, making it one of the fastest accelerating machines on the planet. Besides the highly advanced Superquadro 1198cc, L-Twin, it gets different riding modes, power modes, DTC (Ducati traction control), cornering ABS, DQS (Ducati quick shift) up/down, EBC (engine braking control), DWC (Ducati wheelie control), ride-by-wire, DDA+ (Ducati data analyzer plus) with GPS and lean angle acquisition, auto tyre calibration and auxiliary adjustment buttons.

Similar to the Indian Roadmaster, it is a super-premium bagger style motorcycle which promises to offers ultimate power, comfort, convenience and style. The bike has a peak torque output of 156Nm at just 3,750 rpm with its Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110 engine, which is a 1,801cc V-twin. The top list of its premium features includes an infotainment system with a full-color touchscreen, tyre pressure monitoring, dual control heated seat with passenger & rider backrest, high-performance Reflex linked Brembo brakes with ABS, keyless ignition and much more.

Recently arrived on Indian shores, the MV Agusta F4 RC gets the title of the most expensive motorcycle in the country with a price tag of Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). A replica of their Reparto Corse team's FIM Superbike World Championship motorcycle, this exotic Italian superbike is a limited edition offering. Weighing 15kg lesser than the RR model, the F4 RC is powered by the same 998cc 4-cylinder engine that powers the other versions of the motorcycle. However, it has been tuned to deliver a higher output of 214.8PS with the racing kit including a different exhaust system and a dedicated control unit. Apart from the dedicated race bike paint job, the F4 RC gets Bosch 9 Plus ABS (race mode and rear wheel lift-up mitigation), fully adjustable suspension set-up and other kit racing parts along with one of the most advanced electronic package.
